Bankruptcy Lifestyle Salon The Hague

On 9 June 2020 the District Court of The Hague has declared L.S. The Hague Salon I.P.L. B.V., operating under the name of Lifestyle Salon The Hague, bankrupt. Lifestyle Salon The Hague operated as a hair removal salon at the Denneweg, The Hague.

The District Court of The Hague has appointed Marlena Koscielniak of UdinkSchepel Advocaten as trustee on behalf of the joint creditors of Lifestyle Salon The Hague.

Possibly you are a client of Lifestyle Salon The Hague and have paid for one or more treatments in advance, but have not yet received all the treatments that you have paid for. In that case you are considered a creditor in the bankruptcy.

Unfortunately, as a result of the bankruptcy, you will no longer receive the treatments for which you have paid in advance and (for the time being) a refund cannot be issued.

Additionally, you need to take into account that it is likely that, even in the long run, you will not receive a refund from the bankruptcy. Whether a share-out to the creditors will be possible, depends on various factors, among which the amount of the other debts, such as the tax authorities and the UWV (employees). The trustee is currently exploring the possibility of the sale of (parts of) the company. Only after that it becomes clear whether a share-out to creditors will be possible. This may take a couple months up to a year.

For the time being creditors do not need to take any action. Creditors will (at a later stage) receive a notification from the trustee on if and how they can submit their claim in the bankruptcy.

If you have any questions you can contact the trustee by
