The great thing about working in a mixed practice is that the work is never boring. Today I’ll be working on a case regarding a board member’s liability; tomorrow I’ll be working with a real estate developer. In between I’ll settle a client’s tort claim. Forging a good connection with my clients energises me—many of my clients regularly return with legal questions. I love working on cases where the aim is to unite the legally feasible with the commercially desirable. At our firm we’ve struck a great balance: we’re able to confer professionally and have fun together.
